I first tried scuba diving when I was 8 years old at camp. I already loved the ocean, but knowing that there was technology that allowed me to go under for longer blew my mind! I really wanted to pursue it. When I was 12, I took the NAUI course to become a certified scuba diver. Then in the summer of 2018, I finally completed the NAUI Rescue Scuba Diver course, where I mastered:
How to manage risks & effectively handle in-water problems & diving emergencies.
How to assist & transport divers.
How to perform surface rescues & rescues from depth involving both boat and shore based skin and scuba divers.
Now, I am officially certified as a Rescue Scuba Diver plus First Aid and CPR.
